Dr. William (Bill) Dodson, M.D., LF-APA, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and has spent his career helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes from ADHD treatment. Dr. Dodson has been instrumental in advancing the field’s understanding of ADHD medication optimization, ADHD-related sleep disorders, and the emotional component of ADHD, most notably through his recognition of Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (“RSD”) as a core feature. His work with patients with highly complex psychiatric needs has earned him international acclaim. He has written more than 120 articles and produced 17 webinars for ADDitude and the Attention Deficit Disorder Association. He serves on ADDitude’s Medical Advisory Panel.
Dr. Allyson Parry, BSc (Pharmacology, First Class), MBChB (Hons), MRCP, D.Phil (University of Oxford), is a Consultant Neurologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Oxford, UK. Within her long-established adult general neurology practice, she has a special interest in ADHD and its relationship to a wide range of physical health conditions (e.g., migraine, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, sleep disorders, seizures, etc.). Her scientific training in neurology and extensive clinical experience has afforded her a unique insight into the role that ADHD plays within mainstream “physical” health. She is a keen advocate for ADHD to be more widely recognized as an impairing, but treatable, neurodevelopmental disorder, which can have a major impact on the diagnosis and management of many health conditions.
